after almost 2 weeks, many emotional breakdowns, and huge anger issues thanks to Crazy Lady From Down the Street, I had just started to get a handle on my emotions and thought maybe she had learned to leave me alone. Evidently she has not found any other patsies other than my family. Last night she got herself arrested again on domestic violence charges, seems to think we HAVE to bail her out, and actually got mad at Hubby for NOT bailing her out immediately. She was drunk (again) and violently raging at her kids (again) and this time her son called the cops on her. She thinks I'm gonna bail her out so she can go home and start drinking again with the family there? And worse, let the cops/court believe she is living with us? NO NO NO NO NO NO! Here I go again, letting her get to me.... Time to unplug the phones in the bedroom and let the phone in the kitchen go to answering machine. It's a shame that the prisoners at the county jail get to use the phone (collect calls only) pretty much indescriminately. She will call at all hours since for some reason, (I haven't followed the reasoning of CrazyLadyWorld very well) she can't call her house?
Part of my anger management has been to ignore the house and pick up a paint brush. I actually found the craft/painting table under the pile of boxes in the garage. There is no phone out there...Just a radio for me to listen to. I'm currently working on some posters for the church. OUr Minister's next sermon series is on Growth and she is relating it to growing items in a garden. Sounds rather Spring like, doesn't it? I get to use a lot of green paint rather than blue for once. I like green...
UPDATE: Talked to hubby, we are finally on the same page. If she keeps calling, I can now block the calls (it's one of the options given by the automated system when you first answer the phone for the collect call part) and not have him get mad. WHOO HOO! I like this...
