I finally finished up on a couple of projects - I did write some short introductions for items for one friend ( took a week rather than a couple of days, sorry!) and finally picked up the paint brush for the first time in what seems like forever.

Ok, so it is not the best ever painted but since I haven't done a painting in 3 months, just getting something done is feeling good!

stopped by the local comic book store today and picked up the 1st of a three part Serenity comic just out this week. Life can be good sometimes....

Well I guess I must have looked at my last post enough to get a bit of motivation going.  I got about 2,000 words typed in for my story before interruptions started and still have about 4 hand written pages to add.  On top of that I did get a bit more of my picture painted (and wrote on the story while waiting on each layer of paint to dry).  I need to remember I set up a work table in the garage for a reason!  Now to get the money for another heater out there since the one I have is not quite up to the job when it gets colder. 
      Went to a gaming/ comic book store yesterday way south of my little suburb.  I found a neat new Serenity hardcover graphic "novel" (its kinda short for a real novel) that seems to cover at least one story of Firefly in the time period between when the tv series ended and the Movie came out.  My eldest daughter thinks I have gone over the line to insanity.  I just love the characters that Joss Whedon created for that show!  I've got to remember to keep my eye out in case they put out more of those books...
